Quite honestly, Avast out-performs it with lower resources, better detections, more functionality and still remains free. I changed the scheduled scan to once a week, which really is sufficient. I run three machines, but have replaced AVG on two which I use regularly. I am still waiting for news on bug fixes and patches for AVG V8. I have used it for many years and it was always my first choice to install on others machines, and I would recommend it to everyone, but NOT the latest version.
