Fake Antivirus Programs Part 5 – Using Spybot S&D

Spybot Search & Destroy is a free program which detects and removes spyware which is not covered by antivirus programs. This includes many of the new rogue antivirus programs which install silently in the background

Doug – Spybot has to be one of the all time favourites which many users still haven’t got around to installing. It’s Hosts file does a superb job and CCleaner is an amazing utility.

Ive used Spybot for years. I usually combine its services with CCleaner and Hijack This for a sqeaky claen puter.
